OT: Google Down?

I keep getting "server not found" errors when I try to search on Google.

I'm not getting that error from any other website.

Google under attack???

Works for me. Google search, youtube, gmail - all functional.

From your description, you may be having a network problem. If you're using WiFi, try power cycling the router and clearing your browser's cache.

Thanks, but ... why would that problem only affect Google, and not Yahoo, Amazon, IMDB, PatriotsPlanet, etc?

It's cleared now, anyway, but I don't think the problem was at my end.

Google Docs was down for a while today. I wonder if it was a regional thing.

It turns out there was a problem. If you Google the term Google, a story from The Register will come up. It uses a NSFW word in the title.
