Patriots Free Agency 2023

The one guy I feel bad about in that list is Damien Harris.

He's been a good player for us and an absolutely perfect Patriot and teammate. I don't know what he's looking
for but I wish we didn't sign Robinson and made an effort to keep him around. Sometimes I feel like free agency prevents
fans from getting attached to players or really getting to know them. Harris is just one of those guys.

Also, we met with Miami LB Andrew Van Ginkel yesterday and I'd love to have him here. He doesn't look like a typical NFL
player but every time I've watched him going back to College he's always doing something to help his team in a number
of different ways. I think he's an underrated dude with length who can play.

Plus, I have a theory that every good football team needs two white dudes with shoulder-length hair. Not one and not three. Two. We
add him to Schooler and we're all set.

Yeah. Harris has been a great soldier. I feel for him, too.

It's too bad but he's had 4 right thigh muscle injuries over his career. 2 of them in '22. The same injury to the same muscle group in a 4 month period spells trouble.

Draft sharks gives him a durability of 4 with an 88% chance to get injured this year and he's projected to miss 3.5 games this season.

I didn't know it was 4, but I figured there had to be some chronic issues with him. Thanks.

Also, the Draft sharks thing sounds a bit iffy to me, but I'd take 3.5 games if we could keep Damien around. I wonder what
the average is for all running backs. Those guys are always getting banged up.

Robinson didn't look all that good with the Jets. I'm not sure what his fit is here, although he can probably catch better than
the other RBs.

The Jets panicked when they traded for Robinson and he was underutilized.

I don't think Robinson is by any means an upgrade over Harris but with Stevenson's emergence as a pass catcher, Robinson is more than just a 3rd down specialist. He can also be a featured back (either for workload management or deception) and I think his addition will hopefully (for the love of GOD) help to better set up play-action.

I would say that he is...mostly based on stats. When healthy, they're similar.

just saw one of those 99.9% likely-BS tweets about [insert name here] spotted at Logan Airport. pic seems familiar. the claim was DeAndre Hopkins was spotted.
