Mayo looks like that manager at work (we've all had one) who is worried about looking like he's down in the weeds so makes a point of looking thoughtful and taking a few notes to look like he's above it all, but is just doing nothing.

Bruh, there's only so imaginative you can be, when your offensive line literally cannot block anyone.
Onwenu was getting beaten so badly, he spent the 2nd half in a 2-point stance to try to stave off the pass rush. He wasn't the worst one on the field today.
Even Zolak was losing his shit during the game, which is really rare for the actual broadcast.

Kraft is a moron. He had a very good coach practically begging for the job in Vrabel. he showed his interest and commitment when he came here mid-season for the Red Jacket induction and was clearly connecting with Patriots staff and giving a clear indication he wanted to come here. He's a proven coach and would have been infinitely better than the unproven Mayo. He would have had this D playing better and spent the offseason not criminally neglecting the roster.
But no. Kraft made a call based on a trip to Israel with Mayo. I mean WTF? Can you think of a worse vetting process than using a vacation to pick a HC??
And I'm sure Kraft knew Vrabel would not have just sat there with all that cap space and draft capital and done nothing. He would have been banging down Krafts door demanding cash and that swung cheapskate Kraft as well I'm sure. he wanted a HC who would doff the cap and say yessir.

I'm moving on. We have the Colts next week. After the bye we play the Bills twice, the Chargers, and the Cards. The is the 2nd toughest remaining schedule.
I'll watch all the games even, with Lowe and Jacobs at the OT. Looking forward that they will be in the CFL in 2025.
