I'm disappointed in Stevenson this year. He's not the same guy this year. Slower, slow to identify and hit holes, slow making his 1 cut, has a hard time getting around end on sweeps.
Hard to swallow that he's got another 3 years on the payroll at $8M/year. He'll be 31 when his contract expires. He won't be around that long the way he's playing.
He can be released this offseason post June 1st with a $6M dead cap hit.
After 2005, his dead cap post June 1st will be $2M
After 2006 season, the Pats can cut him post June 1st with $0 dead cap.

This isn't a playoff team, but it's a team that Bill could bring to the playoffs in this year's AFC.

I had planned this to be a real long rant, with some comedy for fun (and plenty of tragedy!) but it's too depressing and I find i don't actually care enough.

This regime has a big hill to climb to get my support.

Exactly how I feel. If I can see the coaching battle is lost every week then every opposing coach is salivating to play the Pats. The Pats make them look like geniuses.
I'm sick of it and, as you, I don't care enough to get be upset about it.
OTOH, I still get very worked up about Kraft's part in this.

girls: can tell you what exact shade of mauve the living room pilows are vs ones in a store but have no clue what's bigger a 9 mm wrench or a 1/2" wrench.
guys: can look at some rando pornstar butt and can tell you if it's the same rando butt in a .gif but have no idea what color their shirt is...exactly.
