Pet Peeve(s)

Oh, yeah, veterinarians have been following LOY for a long time. Buy stock now then be prepared to put in calls and puts on options the minute approval comes. Imagine how big this could be! Forget about rapamycin --> too many bad side effects.

I've been expecting a company to develop a really good anti-inflammatory drug bc inflammation is the #2 killer after cancer. So many chronic diseases kill and debilitate through
inflammatory mechanisms. Colchicine, normally used for gout, is being studied currently for its generalized anti-inflammatory properties. Results are encouraging so far. Every organ system would benefit.

You read my mind! If it works they will be printing money.

I don't know. I don't think pets should be allowed everywhere but I'm not going to let an overly friendly dog ruin my day. Now if one bites me. That's a different story.
Every time I go into a Home Depot there are dogs there. You absolutely do not need to bring your dog to get paint, or lumber or even a light bulb. I had to replace a window blind last year, turn the corner into the aisle and there is a guy with a massive Saint Bernard. To make matters worse, the owner is on the phone (and he wasn't discussing blinds), completely oblivious. There was myself and another couple and none of us could move around this massive dog. To get around, we had to walk down the aisle parallel to the blinks aisle. Absolutely unnecessary.

My son has his permit so we are out on the road quite a bit and people are poor drivers, in general. One thing that sticks out to me in particular is that no one knows how to make a proper left turn. Everyone takes a half-assed 45-degree angle turn across the edge of the lane of on-coming traffic. Pull forward and turn. It should be closer to a 90-degree turn than a fender-swiping maneuver, folks.

Rainbows. I hate those fucking things. You know, you'll just be sitting there, minding your own business, and they'll come, marching in and crawl up your leg and start biting the inside of your ass, and you'll be all like: "Hey! Get out of my ass you stupid rainbow!"

Bar Soap

this has bugged the shid out o' me for a looong time now!!

WTF has Dial done to simple inexpensive fuggin' bar soap??!!??:cuss:

wCapture.JPG

back in-the-day, like fuggkin' forevaah, you could work that GD soap down to a sliver so hard & sharp-edged you could practically shave your nethers in that shower :lecture:

Capture.JPG

now-a-days a new bar turns to a gooey fuggin' soap turd in like 3 showers FFS
and DON'T get me started about the names they give this shid like:

Fresh Rain Overnight or Lilacs In The Dewey Morning Hillside :jerkit:

(I might have tried Irish Spring if it featured a smell of Jameson & Potatoes , but I digress)

put some Viagra back in this stuff so it will be hard and last 27 (+/-) showers like the before-times

thanks for listening :soapbox::)

Pet owners who let their pets run the streets. Both dogs and cats. I don't own any pets so their is no reason I should be picking up their business out of my yard.

that's ridiculous. you should shit in their yards(under cover of night when you make sure there are no cameras). people have gotten more self-centered.

Hey HS, you and I grew up in an age where dogs and cats ran free. The rule at 6 Prospect Square - Check your shoes, always, before coming in the house, or ELSE I t was what it was and you dealt with it, you didn't whine about it. But times change.

yeah definitely glad fewer roam free now. not good for domestic animal lifespans.

One for me is some YouTube channels now where the creator does Q&A, and gullible fools pay money to ask questions. And so many do which amazes me. It becomes a bog doc contest, with viewers donating larger and larger sums to ask the most mundane questions.

Great for the presenter, of course, but it's inane from the viewers.

Also with YT, the constant demand for subs and "if you enjoyed this video make sure to hit like and comment below, I love to hear what you guys think". it's so dishonest. They want comments to raise the engagement stats and, therefore, translate into cash. They don't give a shit what viewers think.

I know YT has changed the algorithm and the way creators are paid, which now means the creators spend half the video doing paid promotions for some company they pretend to like, and they also now beg, literally, for Patreon subs and flog crap 'merch' to try and make more money.
