If you could pick ONE retired player from Patriots past to come back for this year IN HIS PRIME, who would you choose???

This is a repeat of the same question asked in 2005. Be interesting to compare.

I could pick one from every position. Going based just on the needs of this current team, I'd go with Hannah. Having the best lineman of all time in the middle would keep Brady upright and improve the running game.

Close seconds would be Tippet and Morgan.

I'll go Morgan. He'd score 30 TDs with Brady throwing him the ball.

2nd choice would definitely be Hannah.

Only one? Gimme Troy Brown. Guy can play every position but lineman . . . and maybe even that - they never asked him to try.

:D

I was trying to think of some less obvious choices. Of course Troy would help in the slot right now. And #73 is always a popular choice. Good point on Moss, Jaric.

How about Terri Glenn? Be interesting to see what she could do with Brady in this offense.

Or how about Curtis Martin? That would fill a need right now.

BB got along great with him in 2001.
