The Patriots Planet Forum values your privacy. To keep you informed, this privacy statement discloses our purposes and methods for online collection and use of information. This policy applies to all information collected through the Patriots Planet Forum website.

Disclosure of Information
The Patriots Planet Forum will never sell or distribute your email address or other personal information to third parties without your prior consent.

We reserve the right to distribute any information on our servers if required to do so by law, or upon order of a court of law.

Right to Change Policy
As we add new features to The Patriots Planet Forum, we reserve the right to update our privacy policy to reflect these new services. As the policy is updated, the date at the top will be changed to reflect this.

Registration at The Patriots Planet Forum
A valid e-mail address is required for users who want to participate in the Patriots Planet Forum. This is designed to protect our community from abusive postings and provides a verifiable point of contact should questions arise. At any time, you have the ability to keep your e-mail address hidden from other users by selecting that option within your user profile.

Also in the forum registration, you have the option of providing some additional information such as occupation, interests, and homepage URL. This information is made available to other bulletin board users to foster a sense of community. If you have any concerns about providing this information, simply leave the fields blank and your registration will still be processed.

Guests are free to search and view the forums.

To comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), visitors who are younger than 13 years should not register without prior parental consent.

This website does use cookies to enhance the service we provide. A cookie is a small data file stored on your computer's hard drive. The cookie stores information such as the date you last visited the site. This allows the site to recognize your username and automatically mark new posts and threads in the forums since your last visit. There is an option in your User Control Panel (also called User CP) to disable the use of cookies. Most browsers can be set to not accept cookies.

IP Addresses
When you post in the forums, your IP address is logged. This IP address is unique to your internet connection and is provided by your Internet Service Provider (ISP). Your IP address is only visible to our admin and moderators. It is used as a security measure to prevent abuse of our forums and website. In exceptional circumstances we may be required to report abusive members to their ISP for further action. Members would be warned first before this action is taken.

Disclosure of Personal Information
The Patriots Planet Forum does not disclose your personally identifying information to any third parties for any purpose without your prior consent. All reasonable care is taken to ensure its security both offline and online.

It’s also important to be aware that when you voluntarily provide personal information (e.g., address, phone number) in a posting on the bulletin board, that information is publicly available and may be used by someone in a manner unintended by you. For that reason, it is encouraged to use caution before offering of any personally identifying information within the message board itself.

Changing or Updating Personal Information
You can update or change your user profile on the Patriots Planet Forum by clicking on the "profile" option on the Forums page.

Private Messaging System
The Private Messaging system is a facility only available to registered members of The Patriots Planet Forum. Private messages are stored on the server. Your private messaging folders will never be opened by the administrators except to investigate a report of abuse, to protect the servers, or if required to do so by law.

Updating Your Information
All information in your personal profile can be updated by selecting the tab in your User Control Panel.
