I’ve generally been a Seattle sports team hater since I moved to Alaska but mostly concerning their fans and that previous team of shit talking which included the Legion of Boom.

This bunch save for 1-2 players all seem like decent and humble players, not shit talkers like the LOB team. So that said, congrats to them, their defense was other worldly and damn near unstoppable. This loss didn’t hurt near as much as the 08 loss to the Giants IMO.

But I still dislike their fanbase. 😂
 
Yeah, there's really no one hatable on that team for sure. their head coach is even from massachusetts and grew up a patriots fan.
 
Yep, they were quite superb, it has to be said. They played a lot of tough teams this season and beat them, and they have an all-time great defence. Up there with the 85 Bears, really, who we also bloody well faced. :mad:

And one of the positives of them winning is the despair that Jets fans are feeling who see their former QB winning a ring :rofl:
 
We also lost to the New York Giants when we supposed to had an offense that was impossible to stop. 🙄
Other than that, I think Seattle had had one of the best defenses I’ve ever seen. They were absolutely incredible upfront.

I'll add my thoughts to this. The only team I hated at all were the Steelers (especially after Cowher left), and the Ravens. I had a non-football fan in my apartment for the superbowl, and he asked if the Pats were usually better after the halftime. I told him we change, but it's either we're better or worse. This time we were worse, but I suspect it's because the Seahawks had self scouted and guessed what we were going to do to adjust. Their defense came out prepared for our likely adjustments and just blew us off the line. Now I know how fans used to feel about facing BB's morphing defenses.

Can't say I hope to meet the Seahawks again the the SB, and that's quit th complement from me.
 
I need to dig into their cap / FA situation. Seeing as how we gotta play them next year.
