Thoughts? Yay or nay?

I haven't thought deeply about this subject and have some personal biases from experiences with police when I was young.

Just wondering about arguments for and against.

possibly very limited qualified immunity. Carte blanche to law enforcement is how we got here.
Back in the yesterdays, the jurors, who respected the police highly (in general) were highly inclined to understand the inherent difficulties in policing, and undertook their duty with qualified immunity imbedded in their hearts. I understand that's not at all what blm et al want to hear and they will, I imagine, have "the big one, Edith" at the mere thought of any kind of immunity. For police. I would favor a well crafted immunity that's aimed at Justice, not aimed at appeasing either side.

Cheers

Giuliani is a crazy quack, so whatever he tells someone, I do not believe. How he is still a lawyer let alone not in jail is astonishing.
