Random Football News - 2024

Just some raw Data-

Mondre leads the league In fumbles, Jacoby tied for 3rd in sacks (I thought would be number #1) , NE Averages a league low 238 yards a game,
YAC- Led by Gibson, Henry ,Hooper, Mondre. The WR with the most YAC Is - Pop Douglas with 31 YAC yards in four games.

The Line sucks but time to look higher up. Is coaching a plus or a minus at this point ?

some more raw data (and I do mean RAW-dogging data)

Jacoby was submitted to 6 QB sacks and 10 QB hits yesterday

and all I know about the NEP's coaching is that the players love their HC :)

I can’t believe how good Derek Henry looks. He really slimmed down.

They all love their coach.....How's that working out for them ?;)
They'd run through a wall for him. But not get between their QB and a rampaging DL.

I love Daniels in DC. I wish so bad the Pats got him ...

This doesn't seem fair ;)
Ravens running back Derrick Henry showed he still has plenty of speed during Sunday night’s win over the Bills. In fact, only one player in the NFL consistently runs faster with the ball in his hands than Henry.

The NFL’s Next Gen Stats tracking shows that Henry hit a top speed of 21.29 mph on his 87-yard touchdown run against the Bills. That was the eighth-fastest speed reached by a ball carrier since Next Gen Stats tracking began in 2018.

In that time, Henry has now hit 20 mph 27 times. Only Tyreek Hill, who has hit 20 mph 73 times, has reached the 20 mph mark while carrying the ball more times than Henry has.

Hill is one of the fastest players the NFL has ever seen, and the fact that he’s hit 20 mph almost three times as many times as any other ball carrier is a testament to his speed. But it’s also an extraordinary accomplishment for Henry to be in second place, given that Henry weighs about 250 pounds. The NFL has never seen a player with Henry’s combination of size and speed.

Where Is Davonte Adams going Jets/ Chiefs seem like the most likely teams but Dark Horse Vikings .Speculation of course ...

Rodgers hasn't been the same guy he was in GB. That connection may not be there now.
Chiefs would be the logical place if they can scounge the money to sign him.
The Pats? Plenty of cap space and have the extra 3rd rnd pick from trading Judon. Maye could take advantage of Adams' talent but I doubt Adams would come here.

I think any of the top 8 teams would benefit from signing him.

My dark horse is the Commanders.

good points. Love the idea of him here but he's not coming here if he has any say in the matter. he is also 31 and pats need an O-line first before we can even use what WR's we have
Can't see raiders trading within the AFCW unless KC blows there doors off with an amazing offer (like a 1st)

Commanders is interesting. I can see Adams being interested in going there.

My issue with Pats entertaining this is that it changes nothing about the biggest glaring hole (OL), so it feels like it would be for aesthetics.

Very valid point but yet the Eliot crowd was trying to make this move earlier this year.

If Davante Adams gets his wish, he'll eventually be a member of the New York Jets, playing with his friend and four-time NFL Most Valuable Player, Aaron Rodgers.

New York is where the Raiders star wants to play after informing the team on Monday he prefers to be traded, multiple sources say. But Adams has not demanded as much from Las Vegas, and this is not a scenario like Rodgers' in 2023 when the quarterback informed the Packers he would only play for the Jets.
In fact, according to sources informed of Adams' thinking, he is open to playing for several other teams. The New Orleans Saints, Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, Dallas Cowboys and perhaps the San Francisco 49ers are among teams that either have inquired about the six-time Pro Bowler or are places Adams would be happy landing.
