Be not simply good - be good for something.
It pisses me off that the Colts of that era have Peyton Manning, Marvin Harrison, Dwight Freeney, Tony Dungy, and Bill Polian all in the HoF.
And the team that utterly dominated them during that time doesn't have a QB, WR, DE, HC or GM from that era in the HoF.
The HoF is a joke.
They also have a RB (two if you include Faulk). In fairness, Seymour is in, as is Ty Law. And once Brady gets in, it's pretty much going to be the "Brady HOF + some other dudes."
But I agree with your overall sentiment.
