Random Football News 2025

Apparently Jerruh Jones has been negotiating a new mega-deal with Micah Parsons. Wants to make him the highest paid non-QB in NFL history.

The problem is that he's been dealing directly with Parsons, not his agent. BIG no-no per the CBA. Jerruh didn't even bother to deny it. He said, "I write the checks, and he cashes them." "This was the fastest way to get a deal done."

But it's Jerruh. Nothing to see here. No consequences.

The NFL, in all its wisdom, has decided that the records from the short-lived All-American Football Conference should be included in NFL records. Otto Graham is now tied with TFB for the most championship wins in "NFL" history, and Paul Brown passes BB for the most championship wins, since the Cleveland Steamers, I mean Browns, won all 3 championships when that league existed.

100% to diminish what BB and TFB (and team) did.

Good to see that the patriots jealousy still exists.

Lamar Jackson filed an opposition to dale earnhardt juniors trademark to his number 8. While many know Lamar Jackson, I doubt anyone outside of Baltimore knows he is number 8. I’m pretty sure everyone knows dale jr’s number when he raced was 8. Now that he owns a team, he runs his historic 8 Budweiser car again after dale Earnhardts wife let the trademark go for the number 8 under dale earnhardt inc. While I understand it is about the 8 is stylized, I think dale junior would have a case of history going back to the dei trademark.

This sounds like a case of any publicity is good publicity move. I don’t see Jackson winning and likely dale junior paying him money to go away.
