Interesting. He will likely start the season very low on the depth chart if he makes the team. Not a bad option to have on your bench if Mixon and/or Pierce go down.

If there was a Fantasy Football for getting arrested, this guy would go first in every league!
The one he does the next season will be even worse.Rodgers said on Pat's show that this will be his last season playing football. So get ready for the obnoxious Rodgers farewell tour every week. Sept 21 will be a nauseating week leading up to the game. At least we get it out of the way early.

Fins remarried their ex huh?Big trade in the AFC:
Steelers get:
- CB Jalen Ramsey
- TE Jonnu Smith
- 2027 seventh round pick
Dolphins get:
- S Minkah Fitzpatrick
- 2027 fifth round pick
still can't believe he came back and played on that. that's pretty freaking amazing. and he wasn't bad either.Awful. He's lucky his leg could be saved though.
Dolphins traded Minkah Fitzpatrick for what ended up being Austin Jackson, and now give up Ramsey and Smith to get him back 6 years later.Big trade in the AFC:

This is all about saving money for the future to me.
The Dolphins are dumping salary now and gaining financial flexibility for 2026.
Ramsey wanted more money to stay but he's 30 so the Dolphins said no.
Jonnu Smith had a great year in '24 and he was due for a raise but, again, the Dolphins said no.
(If the Dolphins wanted to keep either player they would have re-signed them months ago. They traded Ramsey rather than losing him for nothing after this year.)
Yes, they took on Fitzpatrick's deal but it's less money than Ramsey and none of it is guaranteed. That's huge. More money saved if they trade Fitzpatrick.
This may be Tyreek Hill's last year in the NFL. Reports say those who know him say it is his last. He thought about retiring before '24.
That means 2 of the Dolphins top 4 salaries will be gone for '26 and Tua's contract is not guaranteed after '25.
The Dolphins are hoarding cash now and looking for 2026 to become an important year for their future.
