When I first started following football, it was watching the afternoon games - many times it was the 49ers and Brodie playing the Packers or the Cowboys. The 49ers were my second team during those days.

The obit doesn't mention it, but after his retirement he went into TV and did a fair job as the expert analyst.

I remember him as an average QB for that era. RIP, Mr. Brodie.

I have to say, the first thing I thought of after this Kupp 'catch' was this would pour salt into the Bills' wound over the Cook's play.
Extending the hands for yardage is a football move.

The bias is pretty strong.

Kupp made clear "football" moves. Cook did not.

While the rules are ambiguous and should be clarified, this isn't proof of anything since they're different plays. Had Cook caught the ball standing, extended the ball and lost it then it would be comparable. But alas they're similar category but different plays.

Doesn't surprise me a Bills fan will look for any reason to bitch and moan, though. They're quite good at it.

They've truly become the Boo Hoo Loser Crew.

So I'm reading stories that Shedeur Sanders has been added to the Pro Bowl roster. This can't be real, can it? I would think that Stidham would almost be more worthy.

7 touchdowns and 10 picks gets you in.

I like the kid, holy hell, talk about a low bar.

Pro Bowl is no longer an apt name for it. Call it the Obligation Bowl.

BTW, the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Illnesses has recognized and entered a new disorder, called Pats Derangement Syndrome.
