Random Football Stuff 2026

Speaking of random football stuff, Xfinity and NFL Network are in a contract dispute so currently, subscribers have no access to NFL Network.

I heard the reason Jack Campbell didn't get the 5th year option was because Micah Parsons has driven the price up so much it's an unreasonable price to pay for Campbell.

The edge position and LB are in the same category.
He’s talented

I'm in the DC area this weekend. On the local news they had Diggs doing some Mother's Day event with Cardi.
Looks like they are back together, until Monday. He mentioned, after he was found not guilty in the chef thing, that he would like to come back to the Patriots.

Steelers selling old seats-
I'de like to see Kraft buy one for Gronk.

Twenty-five years after Acrisure Stadium opened in Pittsburgh, some of the seats are being replaced. And the old ones are for sale.

Via WPXI, roughly 22,000 seats can be purchased from the Upper Level East, Upper Level West, and North Club sections.

A single seat can be purchased for $399. A pair of seats costs $599.

Jalen Hurts has always disliked being under center. New OC Mannion is changing all that.

Appearing on the Sunday morning edition of SportsCenter, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler explained that Jalen Hurts has been "throwing offsite" with some Eagles receivers, including DeVonta Smith, that Brown has not been present for:

"I'm hearing the two have hit it off, and Jalen Hurts likes how Sean Mannion structures the offense, how he talks about how they're going to attack things because it's going to look different. It's going to be more under center for Jalen Hurts, more play-action than he had done in the past. So, our sources have told us that he's at times been reluctant to some of those changes but right he's as open as he's ever been to some of those. He's also been throwing offsite with some of his receivers, DeVonta Smith, who's his new No. 1, new veteran Elijah Moore. He's been getting after it, trying to get ready for this new offense. Eagles are going to look a lot different in 2026."

He also cannot throw to the middle of the field. There were years where he ranked 36th out of 32 quarterbacks which obviously means worse than backups.
