Pretty much. they shouldn't be asking for a single dime from taxpayers to build their buildings. I'm okay with their keeping revenue from the stadium if they put their money into it. other than that, they can f all the way off. I think the n f l gives them favorable loans too.I don't think it's red or blue, it's billionaires doing their thing,,,
That's a whole lot of millionaire football players that are not part of your tax base anymore. Not sure what the big deal about the Bears is. The state line is so close, it would be the equivalent of the Red Sox moving out of Boston and playing in Brookline.
New Jersey Jets and Giants. 49ers. Los Angeles Rams and Chargers, Cowboys, Chefs in a year or so…etc. Not sure what the big deal about the Bears is. The state line is so close, it would be the equivalent of the Red Sox moving out of Boston and playing in Brookline.
It’s a reasonably big deal to Illinois when all of that tax revenue shifts to Indiana. Not sure what the big deal about the Bears is. The state line is so close, it would be the equivalent of the Red Sox moving out of Boston and playing in Brookline.
Same. I hate this because it's two evil entities pitted against one another and at the end of the day, there's only one guarantee: Your Xfinity bill will be going up.I knew ESPN would cause trouble for cable companies. $$$$. It's been 5 weeks and still no progress between Comcast/Xfiniti and ESPN.

ESPN Embroiled in TV Dispute As NFL Network Goes Dark on Comcast for Forcing ‘Millions To Pay for a Channel They Don’t Watch’
ESPN officially took over operations of NFL Network on April 1, marking a major shift in how the league’s media presence is being managed. Then, just a month later, on May 1, NFL Network abruptly went off the air for subscribers of a major cable provider.sports.yahoo.com
I've given up on expectations of not getting ripped off.Same. I hate this because it's two evil entities pitted against one another and at the end of the day, there's only one guarantee: Your Xfinity bill will be going up.
I hope they break NFL Network out as a premium channel. I won't subscribe. And much like I do when broadcasts are on other streaming services, even if I have the service, I don't watch the games.
I pay for cable. I don't pirate any broadcasts. Furthermore, my cable is high in MA because of NESN. Every single Red Sox broadcast should be made available to me, regardless of what service it's being broadcast on.
Sports fans lose with the renegotiation of broadcasting rights every single time.
Agreed. If you told me what my budget would be to simply have it all, you'd get very little argument. All I want now is some sort of platform where I can get everything in the same place. You know kind of like cable used to be. Charge me twice as much.
THE KANSAS CITY Chiefs have reworked superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes’s contract to extend his tenure through 2033 with the revamped deal worth a historic reported total of $504.75 million
“He’s our QB1 and you can’t have him,” the Chiefs said in a post on X confirming the contract extension on Wednesday.
ESPN and NFL Network reported the extension adds $239.05 million with a total value of $504.75 million from 2026 through 2033.
The first four years are guaranteed at signing, and Mahomes can make up to $522.25 million through incentives and escalators included in the deal, ESPN reported.
The $64 million annual average value of the deal, beginning in 2027, is a new NFL record.
