That's because we never mention all the failures of the other players on the Green Bay offense, or the Green Bay defense, or the coaching staff for all those appearances. They're the reason Rodgers doesn't have more rings - those failures can never, ever be laid at the feet of the QB.

Nothing about his play in any games that eliminated Aaron Rodgers from the playoffs must ever be brought up, lest it detract from the legend of Saint Aaron of the Golden Arm. :coffee:

I feel like Rodgers has gotten some criticism but he did win an SB. He way underachieved compared to others he is lumped in with, but he has that one. Like the Atlanta braves of QB’s

Josh and lamar need a ring, not just get there, but for starters need to at least win a conf champ.

I disagree that Josh and Lamar need rings - Marino doesn't have one, and that's just fine with me.

(I do understand your point that they need rings in order for their names to be mentioned in the great quarterbacks conversation, but I went in a different direction.)

In fairness, Allen has multiple playoff losses where he did more than enough to win, and was repeatedly let down by other aspects of the team. 13 seconds comes to mind.
