So I received a delivery today. I had almost forgotten that I had ordered a four pack of this stuff. I'm waiting until my son's 21st Birthday to crack it open.

Hope the B'day in question is soon. Beer needs to be fresh (imo). That doesn't look to be a I996 Lafitte Rothchild

Phenomenal. I'm envious of your students today. The opening of the mind is an experience like no other.

Question though. And not to start a religious debate at all, just a simple question.

I was under the impression you are religious in some fashion, no?

Very agnostic. Raised Catholic, but have read/seen far too much to be a true believer. I am at heart a humanist.

Sleep is very, very underrated. It sucks when you can't get any.

I sleep about 4 hours a night with an occasional nap. I run beautifully like this.

When I don't sleep which happens chasing passions from time to time delusion approaches.

I have become more mindful of the importance of taking better care this physical machine as it serves my spiritual endeavors far more than I ever was aware.

Hope you get some rest man.

When I worked in the oil patch, I usually only got 4 to 5 hours tops...and worked from 70-100 hours + per week. I don't miss that shit one bit. It was brutal. Good pay, but, overall not worth the daily grind.

I should get 8 to 9 hours. TB12 always brags that he gets 9 hours. Chronic pain is a bitch...still trying to find remedies for it. I'm very tempted to try fentanyl.

Oh bro I'm so sorry.

Do not ever go the fentenyl route unless your pain is so excessive that you have made peace with death cuz that is often its price.

Even i have never approached that one.

I was on hydrocodone for years, and it only kinda helped. Then the doctor stopped my scripts cold turkey. Holy shit the coming down from that was almost worse than the pain. It makes you itch constantly and crave the drug. It finally went away about a year after.

I can't believe I am wasting my time today watching e Heard vs. Deep testimony...

But one thing I have to say why it is riveting is that I have noticed a direct correlation of Amber to one of my sisters, Not looks but the testimony being provided against her..
I feel for Johnny,

Fun night at work.

Starts near the end of the 5pm show. We get a quick power bump, enough to “stun” our on air product but came back on quickly. About three minutes into the 6pm it happens again, then back on, then off, then on, then off. Was off for an hour. Not everything came up correctly and they were still trying to fix it as I left. I realize a proper size generator will cost 1/2 mill or more but when your job is to inform the public in case of bad weather, if that same weather cuts off your power, can’t do that.

I can't for the life of me find the rememberance thread JD started so im dropping this here.

My mom passed away at 11 pm July 8th.

She was a beautiful soul in every way. All that she gave freely to everyone and her undying love of this country will never be forgotten.

The world misses you already mom.

I love you. ❤️

In the later years we spent many hours on many nights on the couch while I curated music which touched me deeply and her music as well.

She fell in love with 2 favorites of mine. Sure seem appropriate tonight.

She always called The Great Gig in the Sky that screaming lady song. 😆 But she loved it and Ripple spoke to the eternal sunshine and peaceful kindness that was always in her heart.
