My only random thought here will be WTF?
Called my plumber this aAM. When I pulled up his page, I noticed a few reviews. He's nothing special I think, but he's nearby and avauilable and has successfully and reasonably met our needs for 25 years.

He is horrible I have been using him for sixteen years and for sixteen years it takes him three to four days to get back and when he does get back he doesn't fix anything so I was doing it because he installed it so I wanted to use the installer but he is a disaster he is the worse plumber in the world. It was probably less than a year ago when he came over to fix something he gave me a bill for $102 I said but you didn't fix it, he said oh alright give me a few days I will be back and he never came back.
Description of Work: I used Williams Plumbing & Heating for plumbing.

So anyway, WTF?

He was so bad he kept coming back to her. It must be like crack cocaine. You know you’re not supposed to, but you do it anyways. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

If he doesn't get his sh*t together in the next 7 years, she's going to stop calling. You watch.

A young woman has a job working as a designer that creates fishing related thingamajigs, one of hers was a coffee mug. Anyway had decent pay, but she wasn't that happy. She decides to go into the furniture refinishing business. Tells the boss she is leaving, the boss asks her multiple times, "You sure about this?". I'm thinking that the boss is incredulous.

She goes off to do her refinishing work, puts it on YouTube and Instagram. On a recent video she states that the actual refinishing accounts for 5% of her earnings. The rest is from those social media accounts. Planing on buying a house within the year.

No wonder everyone wants to be an "influencer".

Back in 2001 I started at one local tv station and eventually made friends with an anchor and weather person. Even after I was let go in 2018 I still stayed friends with them. They were informed today that the 21st will be their last day. One wanted to last a few more years before retiring. The other should've retired already. Overall, they should've had a big celebration but are likely getting a dud.
 
There was a new young female weather person on the local news today.

We “shared a moment of zen” to appreciate a nice sunset photo.

Got a chuckle out of that.

I've been at my new job for about a year and a half. Almost everyone I worked with for the previous 15 years has been laid off. Most of them knew for several months that they were being let go, but it still sucks that they lost their jobs. Sad to hear as they were let go one at a time.

So I learned more information, next Thursday is their last day. There is at least 15 in total being laid off.

Also the company that owns my work is doing preemptive reorganization like they are not going to have money this year. Yeah, they won’t have money like last year maybe due to political ads but with all the changes at the other station in town, we could end up having an even better year. When the other station in tiwn got rid of a sports person, people actually showed up to the station to complain. Some likely stopped watching them. Now they are getting rid of beloved news anchor and weather person, there could be a riot and likely they will lose a majority of viewers.
