Amazingly accurate. II was grinning/nodding and then emotional and then back again a couple of times watching this.

The only thing I would differ with is the internet which I have embraced and my wife has, only barely.

Thank you for posting it.

It's not accurate about who built the internet. The internet was not built by gen-x.

The ARPANet, email, TCP/IP - all of the foundational elements of the internet were built by boomers and the silent generation.

And Tim Berners-Lee, who leveraged TCP/IP to develop HTTP, and who leveraged SGML to develop HTML (thus giving birth to the world-wide-web), was born in 1955. So he's a boomer, too.

I should have worded it correctly. SOCIAL MEDIA, not the internet which we ALL KNOW was invented by Al Gore. :coffee:

Leave it to a Boomer to correct Gen X....:ROFLMAO:

6 tornado deaths in Michigan and Oklahoma today mark the official opening of the annual American double-wide season.

Cheers, BostonTim

I found this taped to the inside cover of my dad's last jurnal
Tears, idle tears, BY ALFRED, LORD TENNYSON

Tears, idle tears, I know not what they mean,
Tears from the depth of some divine despair
Rise in the heart, and gather to the eyes,
In looking on the happy autumn-fields,
And thinking of the days that are no more.

Fresh as the first beam glittering on a sail,
That brings our friends up from the underworld,
Sad as the last which reddens over one
That sinks with all we love below the verge;
So sad, so fresh, the days that are no more.

Ah, sad and strange as in dark summer dawns
The earliest pipe of half-awakened birds
To dying ears, when unto dying eyes
The casement slowly grows a glimmering square;
So sad, so strange, the days that are no more.

Dear as remembered kisses after death,
And sweet as those by hopeless fancy feigned
On lips that are for others; deep as love,
Deep as first love, and wild with all regret;
O Death in Life, the days that are no more!

Don’t know….. there are some people wearing yoga pants that should not be.
as someone who does yoga, i absolutely hate wearing those because you're upside down a fair amount so they just ride all the way down your legs. very distracting and can mess with my balance.

I'm trying yoga and tai chi......
I'm finding yoga is a great spectator sport :unsure:

I love Yoga. And at this point can do only hot yoga because otherwise my muscles won't cooperate.I do every kind of workout under the sun. But Tai chi is absolutely beyond me. I am not coordinated enough to do those rhythmic series of movements like that. I always joke with my instructors, "once you get to 4 moves in one series, that is it for me. my reptile brain can go only up to 3."😄
