Bite me!
Wyatt has major red flags (domestic violence). I initially wanted him too, until I read that.I wanted Wyatt myself, and idk if the Patriots would have taken him if he were still there, but it makes sense to me.

I wasn't aware. Thanks for sharing. Glad we didn't select him.Wyatt has major red flags (domestic violence). I initially wanted him too, until I read that.
Really?? Ok, for the sake of argument lets say he is a solid day one starter. So what, we already had a borderline pro bowl starter that Bill gave away for peanuts, so at best, we went the long way to fill a hole the he created and the team is no better. You can blow Bill all you like, this pick makes zero sense.
Mankind was a OT in college and was a consensus high 2nd rounder.Yes, and I remember when Mankins was drafted. BB was heavily criticized for using a first round pick on a guard.
Looking back, it turned out OK.
I agree with your thoughts on the pick, but we need to remember we all cheer for the same team, and keep things civil.Oh shut the hell up, you're a moron if you think you can somehow twist this disaster into a good move. Even the blindest of Bill apologist are questioning themselves this morning.
Bill is a fool. Chevss is a dumb homer. Gotcha. This is the dumbest, most hilarious homer take possible. Let's say for a second your right and the kid is a 10 year starter, ok great, why take him at 289 when you could easily filled another need and still gotten him three round later? Now consider the fact that you find nothing to improve the team because at best all you did is fill a hole that you created by giving away Mason for nothing. Sitting here this morning Bill doesn't look like a genius, he looks like fool. We could have filled a major hole at LB, CB, or done anything to make this team better, instead he went the long way to at best stay the same.

That was extremely interesting to watch for the first four minutes.Evan Lazar just absolutely going off on this pick. He is visibly angry and upset.

Knock it off with the common sense right this second, you hear me?Even taking off the BB colored glasses Strange was ranked as the 4th best guard in the draft. When you get that high in a position then personal traits appear to matter to teams, size, style of play, football smarts, etc. I think that Strange would be available at 54 but would not feel comfortable waiting until 85 to draft him, should I want him. It looks to me like BB thinks he had a better chance at getting another position at 54, 85 and 94 with the depth at whatever position he is targeting. Sometimes it is not just the player, but how the draft is developing. When I looked at the pff big board for IOL Strange although ranked 6 overall, was the fourth best guard and had the highest overall rating of the top 5 guards. A reach, okay I can go with that, but a disaster is way overstating the case into Felger territory.
