To me, they were not paramilitary.
They were tacticool. More like cosplaying, but with functional gear. It is a common enough thing.
More concerning to me was what he was planning with those cuffs and what would have happened had they broken into the House.

For all of those concerns about the alt right carrying firearms, they certainly seem to use self control in not actually using them.

More shots were fired at each BLM/Anti-antifa riot/looting/destrutiion/take over in each city. 10x worse in the cities. What is the difference?
TWO things:
The first is very real. It is different because the protest in DC was IN Washington DC. This is a real difference and makes the protest SEEM far worse. This is a fact. It was also an opportunity... which became the 2nd difference.
The second is very concocted. The fact that it occurred in DC gave the left (socialist politicians, leftist media, RINO'S) the chance to blow this up (think Ukraine impeachment conversation) beyond reality. The entire narrative around protests was turned 180 degrees. Think about the reaction from the left had a cop shot an unarmed protester in the chest at point blank range in Portland. It would have resulted days and weeks of coverage on this topic only. We would know the MURDERED peaceful protesters nieces and nephews names and the impact this has on her "community" now in complete fear for their very lives from LEO'S. This was blown up. Rahm Emanuel is smiling. Republican's are weak and soft.

Beating police with American flags, hitting them with weapons, crushing them in rooms, and we are giving credit because they didnt shoot them? Luckily they didnt make it into where the Senate was, so not shots were fired...There was not a lot of opposing force when they were getting into the capital. There will be the next time, so do they fire then? Not sure, what were they carrying them for if they had no plans to use them? I do not know how many carried guns into the capital, which is against the law by the way, but police were not using guns either, they were ordered not to. I do not know how many shots were fired. I did hear shots fired on several occasions from the radios, but it could have been a different noise.
From what I have read, most were not carrying guns, they carried other things, but not guns. I am not sure if that is because flashing guns would cause police and secret service to open fire and thus stopping the attack and that was not their plan, their plan it seemed was to get to politicians. That could have been planned. Police only opened fire when someone tried to breech an area that lead to where the senate was held. I do not know what their orders were, but I did see beatings of police happening and yet still police did not open fire. I guess these are things that will be found out in coming days.

I sure hope all the electronic equipment of all capital law enforcement was confiscated. Something just doesn't sit right about how they went about their duties on the 6th.

Having worked as a police/fire dispatcher for 11 years, I can tell you that if an officer saw zip cuffs in plain view in a vehicle during a traffic stop, they would be very curious and suspicious about that discovery.
If I were to give you a snarky response it would be: "That's right".
But in this case, I won't. This is a such a serious time and the left is so intellectually dishonest that there really is no room for snark or sarcasm.
Your inability to see past your dogma (because that is what it is for you) is killing this country. The consequences of these times will be paid for by our children's children (if they are allowed have children in your world, that is).
