When I was in the navy I got leave while in Seattle Washington I lived in central Cali, so me and a buddy who also had leave decided to hitch hike he lived in Fresno. We had our uniforms on which helped.

Talk about a trip, damn~~~~ Took me four days to get home, had rides by some weird girls, an old timer with a nagging wife, a young druggie looking to wimper and whine to a captive audience, Yep, the first and last time I hitch hiked.

Walked in my parents home on Xmas morning, starving and needing a shower as they told me, ha~~~~
