Many years ago when we got our PC laptop, I said I was going to get a mac eventually. Yesterday that day came. Came across a good deal on 15" mc macbook air. Doesn't have the hard drive space I want but I have external hard drives for that. Will need to get a wireless mouse eventually. When comparing pc laptops that can video edit, the cost was close or the same. Now I can do far better videos for a community event I help with. Plus I recorded a friends daughters wedding a few months ago and needed to edit something quickly and knocked that out yesterday. I'm excited to get back to editing videos for fun again.
 
Went to mow the yard before it got stupid hot outside, gave 15 pulls on mower and no go. Texted friend with lawn business for this week. Will get mower to shop to get fixed. It should be one easy pull to get started but hasn’t been this year, sat in storage for the past 3-5 years.

I could have him mow for the rest of the summer but he is 35 each time. I bought 8 dollars of gas in April for the mower and still have some in the can and full tank in mower. Hopefully it won’t cost too much to fix, last year I paid over 600 for lawn mowing.

Back on November 1st of 2018 I was laid off from my previous job, while I wouldn't miss the job I would miss working with some coworkers. Just a month ago one of those former coworkers (who got laid off from that same tv station earlier this year), was hired on a part time status at my current station. I didn't know if we would ever work together in person, but hoped we would. Today she was called in to anchor the news as we didn't have anyone else available to anchor. I got to admit I was more then excited to come into work. While we stayed in contact since, I was excited to work with her again.
