Is it super sticky snow? That stuff is terrible for trees...it can damage them severly.

Yes, sticky and heavy. About 4" and because most of the leaves are still on the trees the branches are weighted down.

That isn't good...in Montana a few years ago, there was a bad snow storm in April and it dumped over a foot of snow in one night. The whole area had a massive amount of tree damage. Many trees were downed because the snow was so sticky and heavy. That was a fun couple of weeks cleaning up that mess.
