Great question. But who said that handsome thing was a he? I carefully and intentionally left it neutral. There's even one of my long ago stories here. My Great Aunt Martha, Dads Aunt, was born in the 1880's. She owned the house I grew up in (classic Duplex, Aunt Martha on the south sides with a beautiful view above Gloucester Harbor and us on the North side, with all the pigeons. Anyway, I grew up with Aunt Martha and a thousand times she must said what a Handsome lot the Low family women were. Anyway I have utilized that use of handsome all down rthe ages.

Yes, you can use the adjective handsome for women.

While handsome is more often used for men, women can also be called handsome. When a woman is described as handsome, it suggests that she is very good-looking, and also healthy and strong. Handsome is less likely to be used to describe a woman who is petite or delicate.

Haven't posted much here over the past few years. Been busy. Wife, new house, baby girl over the past year or so.

Sundays have become 'avoid all technology until 7PM when we watch Pats game on demand' but not complaining :D

A good reason to not be here. What a lot of blessings you have received. Good for you!
