Right outside one of our our breakfast nook windows we have an ancient rhododendron. It's spaced back nicely from the house and has no green close to the house but is fabulous on the other (southeast Facing) side., Back near the window is a suet feeder with business from dawn to dusk, with all the ma resident woodpeckers and much more. This year, for the 1st time, Mr. & Mrs. Northern Cardinal have been regular visitors. Wonderful.

EDIT: When there, they are no more than 3 1/2 feet from my cheerios.
