Wingsday at Decorah North :wuv:

It's time to meet DNF (Decorah North Female) and Mr. North.

In short, from Raptor Resource Project, "In 2016, 2017, and early 2018 we watched a male and female we called Mr. and Mrs. North. In August of 2018, the North Nest fell. We built a starter nest in September of 2018 and it was adopted by Mr. North and a female we are calling DNF, for Decorah North Female. We do not know what happened to Mrs. North."

Here's the link to the livestream and if you scroll down you can read "About the Decorah North Eagles", "Quick Facts", "News", "Nest Records", etc.

Wingsday!
Snowy Owls have always inhabited areas around the Arctic Circle. But since 2011 Snowy Owls have been seen from Ohio to Massachusetts and as far south as North Carolina.
No one knows why...
