The first round is completely unpredictable, so I'll do it this way: If we get a QB, then I'd be happiest with Mac Jones, next is Trey Lance followed by Justin Fields. Any one of them landing in Foxboro and I'd be completely cranked.

Then moving on to the 2nd I'd be looking for a couple of guys such as Slot/gadget/Kr Rondale Moore or even the possibility that Bill likes QB Davis Mills to develop. Another position that might make sense is to try and find an Adam Butler replacement for the IDL and Iowa's Daviyon Nixon could be an upgrade over the former free-agent. As a dark horse I'd love to get OL Trey Smith.

I'll now lump a few guys together that I think might interest Bill and his guys from the 3rd through 5th where we have 4 picks to spend at present. I'll speculate that RB Michael Carter,IOL Kendrick Green, WR Simi Fehoko, WR Amon-Ra St. Brown, LB Ernest Jones, OT Walker Little, OL Royce Newman or DB Camryn Bynum could be potential Patriots.

With the last few picks representing slappy time I'd like to see us land WR Cade Johnson LB/ST Grant Stuard, RBs Ben Mason and Rhamondre Stevenson or WR Tyler Vaughns
What did you like about Mac Jones, I didn't watch him much, and have given up on trying to rank these guys on my own.
Seen Mills launch fly balls to centerfield for the safeties to settle under, the one image that won't go away.
Like St Brown,
Is Stevenson the second coming of Blount??

PS, For me, the selection of Harry has taken the luster off the promise of the new draftees.

He's the closest comp to Blount, yes.

That was a great presser. The transcript is great to read in its entirety, if only for the rating system (numbers, colors, letters) BB used for draft purposes.

He also refers to, as above, picking good players as opposed to picking lesser players at positions of need. He gave the example of James White and Damien Harris and being asked why he he drafted a guy and then kept him on the bench for a year. But then they became valuable contributors when needed. great stull because it shows a player who gets buried in the depth chart is not fallen out of favor or was a mistake, but also putting the lie to BB's never paying attention to the press. Years later, he still remembers Vereen, White, Harris, etc.

Where has this BB been for last couple of years. Aggressive & filling needs. Day 3 is when he can go back to value . I'm still hoping for a good #4 option at WR.

Caserio's influence has given way to Matt Patricia's eye for trench warfare. Back to the roots of football.

You can see it with draft selections. QB , DL & RB. It shows you what style BB wants to play this year . I’m Disappointed then didn’t address WR. We can always resign Byrd .
