The 2026 Draft

I'm not sure the order of the OTs is very solid. The only thing that hasn't waivered much is Miami's Mauigoa as OT1, no worse than 2. But I've seen Proctor, Freeling, and Fano as high as early teens and as low as around 27. And I've seen the guys from Arizona State and Clemson as high as the late teens and entirely out of Round 1.

Side note: I really like Clemson's Blake Miller. Unless there's a really surprising faller, if he's there I think you run, don't walk, to get your card up and grab him. High floor, high ceiling.

That's how you do it. :coffee: I reached for Domani Jackson over a couple other guys because he's 6'2"+, and I think he has some upside.

Sucks you can't trade in this though. Arvell Reese was still there at 15. If he's still there at 15, I promise you the Patriots will trade up to get him.
Jakobe Thomas from Miami also dropped all the way to 173, if he's still there in the 5th round, I think the Patriots go up and get him too. Also I really like Antonio Williams as a pure slot, really plays the middle of the field well.
Supposedly Auburn Guard Wright has become popular amongst NFL evaluators. And talk of him being drafted on day two.

Offensive line rankings seem to be all over the place.
I do really like Max Iheanchor from AZ.(He's very new to football but) Sit him a year let him learn from Moses.
(And every time I see his name, I think....."Max The Anchor"), Let him anchor the right OT spot for the next 10 years. :coffee:

Carlos A. Lopez on X:
"The #Patriots had a formal meeting with Miami CB Keionte Scott at the Combine, per @JustinM_NFL.

The 5’11 193-pound nickel is one of the most electric players in the draft — he recorded 64 tackles, 13 TFLs, 2 pick-sixes, and 17 pressures in 2025.

Scott’s a projected Day 2 pick.

"The craziest Pro Day number (NFL-verified) I've heard so far?

Louisville DT Rene Konga with a 7.03 3-cone at 298 pounds.📈📈

Fletcher Cox had the best 3C for a DT I can remember, which was 7.07 at 298 pounds (Aaron Donald was 7.11)."

I'm in total agreement with Greg Cosell about Hurst. I looked at him last week and he made my list of WRs I'd like to see in a Pats uni.
I was very happy to see this today. He's lacked good WR coaching during his college career but this kid has all the physical ability to sink his hips,
get in and out of breaks precisely and can already track balls with great focus. I was impressed. 6'4", 210, 4.43 40 with big wingspan. 9.91 RAS.
Reminds me of Malcolm Mitchell with some George Pickens thrown in.

When I looked at him he was 185 lbs, and could be bullied at LOS because he needed more muscle.
Combine lists him at 6' 4'' 206 which Is bigger than I remember him at.Screenshot 2026-03-27 130554.jpg

Concepcion is the most dynamic WR in this draft. If you like Concepcion now, you'll love him after watching this analysis.
He's a bigger & stronger Jalen Waddle but just as athletic. His college WR coach was the same guy who coached Waddle at Alabama, Holman Wiggins, who also coached Bama's
great receivers, De'Vonta Smith, Jeudy, Jameson Williams, etc.

He'd be a terrific guy to pick up in a late round for development because his natural ability and instincts are all there.

lance zierlein's positional depth chart for the draft.
I like him.I also like rick gosslin, but his stuff is behind a paywall if I remember correctly.

Is there any diva factor when checking out WRs for potential fits?

The Louisville WR Bell was mouthing off to the whole opposing team after a catch. Good attribute or bad?
