Interesting fact, the week following their game with the Pats, this is how our opponents have fared:

Texans: Lost to Titans, 20-17
Jaguars: Lost to Titans, 9-6
Lions: Lost to Cowboys, 26-24
Dolphins: Lost to Bengals, 27-17
Colts: Lost to Jets, 42-34.
Chiefs: ???

I do think that the Chiefs are a better team than the Bengals, but I also think that the Jaguars are a better team than the Titans, and look how that went.
 
Go Bengals!


I also have a soft spot for Gio Bernard, so another reason to root for that mediocre team.

Yes , this is true. We still have a ways to go this season but you'll see. Bears are no easy game as their HC came from the Reid tree who's won, um well, bunches of games.

The Queefs are the Knicks of the NFL. Any time they play well we get treated to the pretense that they have some great championship pedigree and actually matter in the grand scheme of things. They don't and they don't. 5-1, on their way to 11-5 and WC round loss regardless of where the game is played. The Andy Reid effect ™

Nobody came from or had a better tree than our guy.

All his little cuttings fail when they get their shot at glory. All of them except Mike Vrabel who is an incomplete, but well on his way after yesterday.

Trees don't mean a fucking thing. It's all Belichick and Ernie Adams who you never heard of. He's our Professor of Dark Arts.

We start peaking in mid-November. All that is happening now is just figuring out what our best game will look like when we need to win to get home field or whatever it is. The regular season is just a qualifier for the tournament and we haven't quite figured out how to dial that D in to shut somebody down in the second half yet.

Still winning but not what we are going to be yet. It's like this every year.

Best of luck in believing that Andy is going to make your guys better than they've looked thus far. Let's see if you can next man up when one of your top 4 offensive players goes down or when Jeremy Lin comes back to Earth.

You almost have to feel sorry for these guys in a way. They really have no idea what anything means at this point. They think being 6-1 matters, when the fact is they have to finish with an outright better record than the Pats. Equal = Gillette in January.
 
The Colts are not mathematically eliminated from this conversation yet and I demand we be treated the same as all the other teams you are discussing!

All we need is a little, dare I say, Luck? :tmack:
 
Update (Since MNF won't impact anything for the AFC):

Chiefs (6-1)
Patriots (5-2)
Steelers (3-2-1, and yes, that's seriously currently the 3rd seed)
Texans (4-3)
Chargers (5-2)
Bengals (4-3)

Patriots hold the tiebreaker over the Chiefs.

Patriots will have to win out from here because Chiefs will end 14-2. The only chance for a loss the rest of the way is Playing the Rams in mexico City.
