Both hit approximately the same amount of the notes and both were conscience altering enthusiasts. Although one had better taste in women, in my opinion.

That album has a lot of great covers (it being an album of covers). My favorite on there is "Train in Vain" by the Clash. Hard to say if the cover is better on that particular song because the original was so great. I think I slightly prefer the cover.

I think the history of the song is that it was written by singer/songwriter Paul Anka with the idea that Frank would record it.
Apparently Anka got a $200 royalty payment every time his theme for "The Tonight Show" was played on the air, for over 30 years.
