We bought our son a membership to the local course. He's been going out and playing with some of the college golfers. He feels that once he gets the putting figured out that he will be ready to challenge his old man. That isn't necessarily a tall task but I'll be damned if I don't go out without a fight.

I'm getting the urge to golf again this year. last year I went early but both my oldest son and I were struggling and kinda decided to spend our energy on other things last summer/fall. However I'm enjoying the golf on TV and going to start hitting the range.
I'm sure as soon as I get to "Shanksville" I'll be questioning why I try to golf

I have to get the OK from my surgeon on Monday to start playing. I do feel that I am ready. Traditionally, I play the morning of the draft and the weather forecast looks good for both Thursday and Friday of next week.

Woodhead tried to qualify a couple of years ago but failed in the last qualifying tournament. Hopefully, he makes it this year.

Justin Thomas leads the Heritage after day 2. JT was one of golfs wiz kids five or six years ago. He hasn't won a tournament in the past 3 years.

Breaking News: I have been conditionally cleared to play by my surgeon.
I should be able to play my traditional round on draft day. The one time recently that I wasn't able to play, because of very bad weather, we drafted Cole Strange.
