The Open Championship starts tomorrow bright and early. It used to be called the British Open but they changed the name a few years back. Brits always act as if they can't smell their own farts.
Coverage will be on USA Network and Peacock for days 1&2, starting in the very early morning hours. Days 3&4 will be on NBC and Peacock starting around 6AM.

Rory is listed as a top favorite. Shane Lowery an Rory were brought up on these kind of links courses so they be favorites.
Benedict Mickleson is the present leader but I don't expect that to last long.
One player that I truly dislike is Sergio Garcia and I don't want to see him anywhere near the top 25.

Was up early, watched 3 holes. Out the door and up the Maine cost. Followed on interwebz so well aware of Scotte's day performing open heart surgery on the field. So hotdogs and beans and watch the rest of round 3. Real surprise if he mages to lose this.

Scottie win the Open Championship (aka British Open). He now has 3 of the 4 majors in his pocket. He needs to win the US Open for the personal Grand Slam.
Scotties caddie will be able to pay the rent this month.
Scottie has been on the PGA tour for 6 years and has over $90,000,000 in winnings.
 
A wonderful July day today for golf. The temperature in the mid 70's and the dew point in the low 50's. Just perfect. I'm limited to 9 holes because of a hip/thigh injury. But I shot a 42, which is good for me.
As I was bringing my cart back, a car was leaving the parking area with a license plate NEPATSSB6. I was wearing my Patriots golf shirt. This was after putting my Patriots golf bag, with my Patriots towel, and Patriots club head covers.
I pointed to the license plate and gave the driver a big thumbs up.
 
Happy Gilmore 2 is on Nextflix with many Pro golfers trying their hands at acting.
Award to Scottie for doing a good job with his rearrest. Will Zalatoris deserves a nomination for his portrayal of Happy's ex-caddie.

No chance I will miss a day on the course with my son.
 
Today is the start of the FedEx Cup playoffs. They will start with the top 70 ranked players at the St. Judes tournament. 20 players will be eliminated this week, with the top 50 playing next week, and then the top 30 in the finals the week after.
Smart of the PGA to get their regular season over before the start of the regular NFL season.
