Scottie Scheffler wins American Express for 20th PGA Tour title

Scottie Scheffler ran off four birdies in a six-hole stretch Sunday to blow past 18-year-old Blades Brown and the rest of the field, closing with a 6-under 66 for a four-shot victory at The American Express.

The PGA season started this week with Scottie winning his 20th tournament. He's is the 3rd to win 20 before his 30th birthday.
Next week Torry Pines as Brooks Keopka rejoins the PGA after being in the LIV for 3 years.

Today is the start n of the $20,000,000 Pebble Beach Pro Am.
Should be a great field and beautiful scenery.

After a disappointing finish last week Scotties caddie probably had to sleep in his car and beg for food outside a McDonalds.
 
After sucking for the first 2 rounds, Scottie is now the leader in the clubhouse. He had 3 eagles on the last round, amazing.
There are others who still have holes to play. Could be a multi player playoff.

EDIT: Morikawa wins it with a birdie on the 18th.

Holy crap. Scottie shot a +5 yesterday to finish dead last on the leaderboard after day 1 of the $20 million Genisis Invitational.
This is the same tournament that Tiger drove his car off a cliff several years ago.
Edit: Scottie ended even par today and will make the cut.

Going into the final day of the Tiger Woods LA tournament, Rory is,6 back of relative newcomer Jared Bridgeman. This is a big money tournament.
Scottie was in danger of missing the cut on Friday afternoon.His caddie was in danger of becoming homeless. Going into today, Scotties caddie will be getting a paycheck.
 
Today is the start of two big tournaments in Florida.
The first is the Arnold Palmer at Bay Hill. Bay Hill is a long course with plenty of water. All the big names will be playing for the $20,000,000 purse.

You can't win the tournament in the 1st round. However, you can take yourself out of contention after the first round. There are a few name players who have done that.
Rory went from -3 to E in the last 5 holes. He may not be out of it but needs to play exceptional the next 3 days.
Poor Justin Thomas found the water more than the alligators.
