How many times do I have to say, you got this.PetScan on Monday. Hip biopsy sometime this upcoming week. Need to be back in remission. If yes, will likely start stem cell transplant process at Karmanos in coming weeks. I will get my own immune system the same as it was the moment I was born. Decisions, decisions...
If I am not in remission, I will return to additional an 6-8 weeks chemo and continue to try to get to remission. May add targeted radiation if that is needed/proper. Then test again. If in remission? Stem cell transplant. If not? Different discussions on EOL and what can be done to extend my useful life. In other words, slow the lymphoma down and add a few weeks/months.
In the meantime, I will continue to live my life as normally as possible just as I have from the start. It is the only way to do it. Lymphoma is called the "but you don't look sick" cancer for a reason. I don't look nor act sick, especially in public. It is a blessing as it makes things easier on my family and friends.
Nitty gritty time is approaching. Positive vibes and especially prayers are welcome.
Just start thinking about better ways to improve your golf game.
Ok, I'll send them out. What harm will it do?
