My daughter has been getting severe migraines. I finally was able to find a doctor that would pay attention to her the way she needed. He sent her for a brain MRI and they found substantial brain damage. We have no idea how it happened. She just went through a 72 hour EEG. It’s gonna be two weeks before we hear the results, but we are very nervous. It could be anything from a life-threatening to brain surgery or just simple medication. If I were ever to lose her, that would probably be the end of my existence. She is my world. I don’t think my heart could handle it. Please say a prayer for her.

A bit of an update it’s been kind of a rocky couple of months regarding my kid. Right now it doesn’t seem life-threatening and that’s a huge relief to me. She just saw a new neurologist and I’m not so sure about this guy, but I’m gonna give him a chance. She still gets migraines and she did have a period of time where they let up for about three weeks. In the meantime, I want everybody to know she’s alive and doing well and we keep hoping this is not gonna be something that will advance. And that it’s just something she’s gonna have to learn to live with. I want to thank everybody for your prayers and your good thoughts. ❤️❤️❤️ Piggy

Thank you been waiting but didn’t want to press …. I get migraines but I get a visual disturbance prior to so I can stop them before they get awful…. But it took a very long time for my doctors to figure this out….. thoughts and prayers always

Believe me this the weights been agonizing on my end. We still don’t have all the answers but today this new neurologist just prescribed her some medicine. He seemed kind of aloof or a little bit neurotic lol he looked at me and her husband like who are you? I’m like saying to myself hasn’t this guy ever seen family members before? Lol. Anyways the stuff he’s prescribed my daughter the pharmacist kind of rolled her eyes saying to my kid. I don’t know if this is gonna really do much for you, but it’s a hit and miss drug. 🤷
As soon as I find out the name of the drug, I’ll let you know. Maybe you can give me some insider information regarding it.

Technically I’m not taking prescribed meds I take over the counter meds but Im luckily I know a ton of neurologists….. I never got diagnosed migraines until I was pregnant with my daughter she’s turning 40 this year …. Migraines are weird just saying. Lots of love for her because they suck for real ….

Well i’ve had a fun 24 hours

Had a prostate biopsy yeserday. I’ve had 3 or 4 of them before so I didn’t think it would be a big deal

When i got home i had a crapton of blood in my urineand there were occational clots coming out too.

Later i had to strain to pee, and after blood and some clots, the urine finally came out.

Later nothing would come out, so i drove to the ER

They put a catheter in me and started to flush my bladder.

It didn’t work so well for a while, but by 3 AM they got it working.

So they’re keeping me overnight and hopefully i’ll go home tomorrow

Had to scramble to get people to sit with my wife, but that’s under control

Well I'm home, but still have a catheter with a leg bag.

changing positions is excruciating till things settle down and I'm passing the occasional clot, which gets my full attention.

Now sitting down doesn't jab the tip of it into my bladder.

I never had a kidney stone in my life and all of a sudden in the past year, I've been the fortunate recipient of two asteroid-sized stones that were too big to pass. Had to have both of them lasered and the aftermath of that procedure is a nice, uncomfortable post-op stent. 12 days the first time, (thankfully) only 2 the second time.

Maddening experience. Happy for you to have it in the rearview!
 
Got the news that I've been dreading. Got the results from the last test they could run to see if there was something reversible causing my wife's unresponsiveness and the results were negative. Unfortunately we've done and looked for everything and now we have to transition to basic comfort care. Thank you all for your support.
