Since people are talking backs:
Several years ago I fractured my back in several places following a seizure.
All the fractures have healed up but one of the vertebrae did not heal squared up and has left me with a little bit of pain.
So far I've deemed it as not bad enough for surgery and I had hoped as a few years passed it would get better especially if I lost some weight.
Unfortunately losing weight helped in other things but didn't really change anything with my back. I still don't think it's quite bad enough to risk a surgery but hearing others talk about their success has me a little jealous lol.
Most days i can lift things and go about my day with little bother. It will flare up the longer I do something and towards the end of longer walks with my dog. But rest and it settles. And it's not the most fun to lay directly on my back. Other than that I might sleep funny occasionally and have a bad day. So for me surgery seems scary but I also wouldn't mind not having this problem either.
Anyway thanks for letting me rant about it and if anyone has advice thanks in advance.
