The STEM thread


I’m an avid Hubble and JWST follower. The images and data they collect is amazing.
I can’t help but think sometimes that there are mysteries in this universe that we aren’t meant to understand. That doesn’t mean that the efforts to learn aren’t fascinating. Great post thanks for sharing.

Planet K2-18b is 120 light years away.
K2-18b is a planet covered with oceans.
K2-18b is about 8.6 times the size of Earth.
K2-18b has Carbon Dioxide & Methane in its Atmosphere which are signatures of biological life.
So, what might be on K2-18b?

For all you skywatchers out there it looks as though the aurora could be visible tonight and tomorrow night. From the forecast I see tomorrow could be the better of the next few days.
