It's a good one imho.

I disagree that it is a good one, it does not look like Brady at all so that is disappointing

The head looks too small to me.

Was hoping for a pose that was in the act of throwing.

I agree with the post that was in the act of throwing, Peyton statue has that which looks cool

Agree. Preparing to pass would capture his vibe much better. One hand up looks like Namath. Plus, if they insist on the raised victory fist, at least they could have him sticking up his index finger "We're number one." As to facial resemblance, all these busts and statues look they could be Any Football Player IMO. Not exactly as good a replica of his actual looks as a painted portrait would be. But if you're just aiming for essence, not appearance per se, I still think an action pose would capture Brady better. The raised fist makes him look like some kind of Giant Ego. That was not Tom Brady who was as humble a superstar as you could find.

As I said I like it. It’s a symbol for me of his dominance and his insane will to win and the fact he delivered it time and again.

And let’s be frank. Brady had a huge ego like all the all time greats. You have to have one. He wanted to win above anything else, his whole career was proving people wrong.

I'm kind of in the middle. Could be better, could be a lot worse. Always remember D. Wade. 😝

I read Brady said
“This isn’t just for Pats fans. It’ll give jets fans something to throw their beers at as they leave during the second quarter. Maybe 3rd”
lol.

I give the statue a passing grade. He nailed the face and expression but, imo, he made the body too thick, making Brady look fatter than he was from waist to knee.
Good effort compared to some I've seen at the HOF.

Anyone know how secure that location is?

Can anyone with a cordless grinder help himself to some bronze?

You never realize what a lost art sculpting is until you see a modern statue unveiled and compare it to something from antiquity.

This is a passable statue by modern standards, if oddly pinheaded. David or Pieta it ain't.

There are some nice touches, With the base included, the entire height of the statue to the top of the raised arm is 17ft - to reference the 17 AFCE titles that Brady won with the Pats. It's mounted on a six-sided base in a nod to the number of SBs he won here.

You make me laugh. Any effort by a HS Art Class would do just as well. I guess bronze sculpting just isn't a thing anymore. Boilerplate attacks even sculpture!:eeek:
