On a go forward basis, anyone making threatening or overly hostile PM's to another board member will receive a warning/strike as necessary.
How are we defining 'overly hostile' or 'threatening'? Well, it's a bit of a gray area in some instances, but if you're threatening bodily harm to someone (or hypothetical bodily harm due to the distances spreading many of us) would be one instance of 'threatening'. Calling someone a fa**ot or c**t would be an example of 'overly hostile'.
If people wish to involve themselves in this type of behavior, then by all means you may solicit your proposed victim's email address from them and if they are amenable, email them all the threats and hostile messages to your heart's content that way. Just don't use the PM system, or you're going to take a vacation (perhaps a permanent one).
