Trader Joe's thread.

I used to love TJs, went through the fearless flyer and checked off half a dozen items each time. When my A1C put me on the line between pre-diabetic and diabetic I had to lay off except for macadamia nuts and frozen veggies. Always keep a couple of their Cauliflower stir fries in my freezer. Most of the food is awesomely delicious but sugar is liberally used. I have to read labels because calling it organic pure cane juice fooled me, but didn't fool the Path Lab that did my blood work 😁

A whole foods just opened up a half mile from my house and I have much better luck with them. OOH, TJ workers are much friendlier. OTOH, WF meats, organic foods, and hot food bar rule (w/tables to eat what you just bought).

So I guess bottom line is I go to both TJ and WF for different things and lucky to have WF a half mile away and TJ a mile away. And a Market Basket a couple hundred yards down the hill. Life is good.
