Week 5 Games

“I don’t think so because it always feels good when you beat up on the Dallas Cowboys, I don’t care who’s wearing the uniforms,” ESPN analyst Tedy Bruschi said on WEEI’s “Dale & Holley” on Monday. ” I think the way these players are and the way the Dallas Cowboy mystique — even the way they hold themselves from Jerry Jones all the way down, it’s just a team that you want to beat and you want to beat badly.

I have this feeling the Cowboys may start Cassell against us.

Jerry knows/knew his season was torpedoed once Romo was out 8 weeks. He has a slight glimmer of hope because he plays in the worst division in the NFC but I fully expect the Giants to take command and it is doubtful a WC will come from there given both Carolina and Atlanta are undefeated and the West has 3 legit teams in the Cards, Rams and Hawks ...

No matter who plays QB for the 'boyz, I believe it'll be a good and proper buttkickin' endeavor by the Pats.
# Bring Troy A Back! :dith:

I'll temper my enthusiasm for this week.

Going into Dallas is not going to be a cakewalk. Granted no Romo, no Bryant, no Lee and no Dunbar. That helps me feel a little better about our chances.

BB will have them ready.

My wife's birthday tomorrow. Having a party for her on Sunday. Due to my family's crazy schedule, the party starts at 4. I can't make her do any of the work so I'll be doing most everything. Stuck in the kitchen for almost the entire game. Ugh

Yes it is. :coffee:

This isn't the karma thread.

From John McLain of the Houston Chronicle

Timing as good as it gets
If the Colts are ever going to be ripe for the picking, Thursday would seem to be the time.
Obviously, the Colts are struggling, too. They have beaten the Titans by two with Luck and the Jaguars by three in overtime without Luck. Matt Hasselbeck, his replacement, is so old he played with Luck's father, Oliver.
Luck, like his predecessor Peyton Manning, has become a Texans nemesis. He is nursing a shoulder injury and might not play. There are reports he will play. Last week, there were reports he would play, but he sat out a game for the first time in his career.
The Texans have a perfect solution.
They believe Luck shouldn't rush back, that he might need to wait one more week before returning. He doesn't want to force it and aggravate the injury in front of his family and friends, not to mention a national television audience.

I honestly think the Colts will be the same whether Luck plays hurt, or if Hasselbeck plays.

It's really a shame the Texans seem to be such a cluster**** right now. Maybe handing it to Arian Foster 25 times will help?

Hold him another week to present him as the savior against the Pats coming to town.

If there's a game I'm going to "rest" Andrew Luck for, it's the Patriots game.

(I'm implying that I don't think Andrew Luck is very hurt at all)

I'm going to call bullshit on the Hags being a legit team this year. 9-7 at best.

No sadness at all since you guys should beat up on a hobbled Cowboy's team. But any given Sunday and all that.

Personally, I'd much rather Romo and Bryant be healthy. few things I enjoy more than a soul-crushing, loss clinching INT from the elite Tony Romo. Doesn't throw a lot of picks, but the ones he does throw are always special. 40+ years of watching the game and aside from Peyton Manning in the playoffs I have to say my favorite is the Romo throwing-it-up-for-grabs-in-triple-coverage pick.

Keep crying lions fans. You lost because johnson fumbled in the endzone .
When this happened to the pats we got stop crying deal with it you lost .

It's called karma. their idiot owner started flapping his gums without a clue in hell as to what he was talking about. Now, that being said, both of these teams are being played like karma's bitches this year, just a matter of which one gets slapped worse.
