Week 7 - Pats @ Jetes Monday 10/21 8PM

Gang Green message board. The "I'm done with this team" thread.

F*cking comedy GOLD!!!!!! ROFL

"It sucks even more that those cheating assholes are so good. There were two aspects of this game that kill me as a Jets fan. One the Jets sucked and looked like a club fighter taking a dive in the first round. Two the Pats are still fucking great and even though we took the fall in the first minute they decided to beat us to death for 60 minutes. Rinse repeat. "

"Losing to the Pats at home I can blow it off with a gallon of ice cream a 5th of vodka and a couple of lines of coke. Losing to them in an epic blowout put me in a straight jacket and send me to a month of rehab. Having Pats fans chanting Tom Brady in Giant stadium decked out in a disgusting green hue to make it feel like home, fucking kill me now.

It's not one game, it's a lifetime repeating itself like an episode of groundhog day and every time you move the ball during the night the outcome gets worse. "

Football Perspective@fbgchase
It's October 21st, and the Patriots have now FINALLY allowed 1,000 passing yards this season. The Patriots are allowing an opposer passer rating this season of 38.1.
FYI: An incomplete pass has a passer rating of 39.6.
Darnold was really bad to get a 3.6 rating.

The @patriots Cov 0 blitz package is historic and generational to me. It made @nyjets QB see “GHOSTS” last night & this is why. You would too, and Sam isn’t alone...

video is terrific

Just looking at the AFC East we've seen historically shitty QB performances over the years, but that right there.......that was the worst I have ever seen. Bar none.

I almost felt bad for Haley Joe. I was looking at the confused and terrified expression on his face and it reminded me of something. It was the same look I saw on the face of a young gazelle getting dragged into a river by a group of savage crocodiles on a nature documentary.

He sucked, but personally I believe he got a little too much of the blame pie and their coaching staff got off the hook for being completely unable to counter the Pats zero blitz package. It was like they just didn't have the ability to adjust the blocking scheme on the fly which is pass blocking 101. Guys were coming free all night.

Adam Gase is a fraud as a head coach and Darnold might very well prove to be a worse bust than Buttfumble.

Really the only issue I had with Darnold if I was on that side was when he did get pressure he would just throw the ball up for grabs. But to your point, yeah some quick crossers probably would have helped, and not try to throw deep on every throw.

Not sure about the other players but I wouldn't really say that what Darnold said was necessarily flapping, he was just trying to be a leader and show some confidence.

“Their defense is good, they have been all year,” Darnold said after practice. “But just like any team, they’re not unbeatable. So we’ve just got to go out there, find the weakness in the defense and keep working it. So that’s what we’re going to do on Monday night.”

I always use the....would Brady say it...I don't think he would say that.

The Jets are deflecting a lot of blame on to ESPN for airing the clip.

Jets bothered by Sam Darnold’s “seeing ghosts” comment making it on air

Jets quarterback Sam Darnold was miked by NFL Films for Monday night’s game against the Patriots, which meant tape was rolling when he said he was “seeing ghosts” late in the first half of a 33-0 loss.

Those comments were splashier than the generic and bland comments that usually wind up making it into broadcasts of NFL games, but that may have been why the powers that be signed off on them in game that was of waning interest given the lopsided score.

Jets head coach Adam Gase was asked on Tuesday about the network’s decision to air them and said he’s never heard anything like that on a broadcast before.

Gase said that airing the “seeing ghosts” comment bothers him and bothers the organization. He added the team will be thinking “really hard” about cooperating with any future requests to have players miked up by networks as a result of what went out on the air Monday night.

The Jets obviously have big issues to deal with offensively, but in-game updates on how those are going will likely be limited in the future.

Even Bell is getting involved:

“The NFL screwed Sammy over,” Bell wrote. “There’s not one player in the NFL who’s cool with having every sideline convo broadcasted to millions. There’s a reason we’ve never heard other QB’s frustrated on the sideline like that before. That’s crazy. NFL did Sam dirty as hell.”

Oh for Fvck sake, grow a pair.

You agree to be mic’d, say something innocuous but comical at the same time, and the network runs with it and you’re pissy? Grow up! You rolled the dice. You gambled your AFC Player of the Week would continue his resurgence.

Instead, he stared into the face of The Boogeymen, and shat himself on the largest stage worse than the Sanchize.

This never gets old!

Technically, they exploited Jackson's weakness of drawing a flag...up to a point. :coffee:
