he though mahomo was going to roll the other way so he dropped back into coverage to cover. but mahomo stopped and faked him out

Looks like one of two things, and possibly both are at play: 1) he had an assignment to cover a potential screen/dump off and was looking for the relevant player in his zone of responsibility; and/or 2) he didn't see the ball and questioned whether he should be going after the RB.

There was no RB popping out though. The RB stayed in to block. Also it's 4th and 17. Very unikely there would be a screen there.

RB was crossing the center. He ended up blocking, but it looked like he could leak to the other side. It looked like the defender was looking at the RB wondering if he had the ball or was leaking, but you're right about the second part - if he was thinking that it's pretty bad situational awareness.

Brissett and Maye and Mac Jones started games this week. Garoppolo and Zappe are on active rosters.
I don't think any other team in the league has drafted five QBs that are currently active in the league.

It looks like the Cowboys will need a miracle to make the playoffs. Wildcard teams will be coming from the NFC West and North.

Has anyone watched the Steelers-Colts game? Dugger was in on 77 of 78 defensive snaps. Wondering how much of an impact he may have had in the game.

While pats did win against Atlanta it wasn't ideal.... which is clearly due to PP not having made the game thread last week.... 
PP - make that puppy asap before anyone else - as well meaning as they are trying to be - starts it.
(no offense to whoever started last week, as we won, but on the road against a team with a winning record might require that extra little oomph to get Pats over the top)
