What do you drive?

WRX's are very fun! The suspension and engine/turbo setup = win! A buddy and me took a road trip from Lolo to Lewiston, ID a few summers ago in his...switchbacks and curves and rocks in the road...they don't look the best...but, very fun.

Dred, what's under the cover behind the Camaro?
That is actually my buddy's 79' black "bandit" transam. That pic was taken in his shop since he has bigger welders for what we were doing at the time. (sub frame connectors, etc.)

Well, my wife's 12 year old 240,000 mile corolla died. After several weeks of searching and many, many test drives, we found her a beautiful gently used Camry.

I just made my final payment on the Milan today.

We now have two mid-sized sedans, I am seriously considering making a change to an SUV now.

During all out test drives, I DID find a 2012 Rav4 Limited with the V6. I didn't like it. I very much wanted to like it, but I did not find it comfortable.

Highlander would be an excellent choice! Great SUV, Toyota dependability, built on a Camry chassis (the 4-runner is built on a Tacoma chassis which equals much harder ride, which takes its toll if you have lots of miles to drive).

I was looking for a used Highlander a few years back and found a Lexus RX300 (which is the Lexus version of the Highlander) for around the same price. Absolutely loved it! Now updated with a used Lexus RX400H which is the hybrid version. Absolutely love it! (Ok, my wife loves it and I do when I get to drive it. Otherwise I'm in my Toyota Echo, which is bombproof.) Toyota and most independent mechanics like to work on them, unlike other luxury brands, and they are as reliable, or more so, than Toyota.

And this (the Lexus 400h) was another vehicle I drove, and I loved it. I am seriously considering finding one when I get title in hand. (would rather have the 450h, but prices are a bit too high still).

Interesting. I get mixed reviews about my 2011 RAV4 Sport - some think it's really comfortable, others find the ride harsh and the seats ordinary.

Of the 4 Rav4 owners I know, the bigger ones - be that taller that 5-10 or over 225lbs - find it too small and uncomfortable and it ended up the wives car for two of them.

I own a 2007 Yaris, worst seats ever...Ive sat in a 73 mustang II that had better comfort, but God that fvcker is awesome on gas, and Super reliable... In May I bought a 2010 Ford Fusion, and the comfort is incredible. The off the line Power isn't bad for a 2.5 engine either. So far I'm really liking this car...

Glad you like it, very similar to my 2010 Milan (though I have the v6). Ironically, discomfort is one of the major factors that makes me not like this car.

Funny how different it can be for different people, or even the same person over time.

But that Lexus....oh my. Might be the most comfortable vehicle I have ever sat in.

If I were you grab that Lexis. They are Phenomenal cars.

I have driven a 2015 RAV 4 Limited, and loved every minute of it. And I am 6'3".
Great car.

driven and owned are different. I have driven many cars that I enjoyed but that doesn't mean I would enjoy owning them.

Ever rent a car for a week, day one it is awesome but by day 5 you are seeing the truth about the car and really knowing if you would like to own it.

One guy went to his wife's Echo because of the comfort it had over the Rav 4 but he is a good 6-2 and a big guy, fit but wide.
