You should check out Mark Lanegan (The Screaming Trees, Queens of The Stone Age, Mad Season, UNKLE, ML, etc.) songs that I've posted. Greg (the main dew) for AW also played on most of Mark's albums. Also, check out Gutter Twins. Greg and Mark both are the main people behind that project.

Greg Dulli (this guy) played on the first Foo Fighters album....I don/t even really like the Foo Fighters, but, their 1st album was actually decent.
