Hell yeah it makes you a worse fan, chevss!

I mean, one thing is going to sleep because you have an important meeting or something, but if you turn the TV off because you're disgusted with your team and want nothing to do with them, then shame on you! :D

One of the great things about being on the left coast is that bedtime doesn't enter into the equation. I'll admit to turning off the TV in disgust when it became 24-0, but fortunately I have a buddy that called me up to convince me to turn it back on.

I will usually turn the sound down, because I get tired of hearing the announcers sucking off Peyton and his 7 yards at the 24-0 mark, but I can't turn it off, I always think they are going to come back deep down inside even if its far our of reach. Seen too many strange things.

I went to bed at halftime... I figured if I have to get up at 3:45 am and I'm gonna have a crappy week I might as well get some sleep. Being pissed and tired is not a good mix

Too bad. The game got "close"

I noticed that in the morning when I asked google who won the Patriots game last night. I had to wipe my eyes several times to make sure I was seeing what I was seeing

Yeah, we usually do not get blown out...

I sent you 25000 in casino cash even though we didn't bet... that's a fair trade for a Pats victory

DId not have to...all I wanted to do was rub it in a little bit, now you took all the fun out of it.

Last night was the closest i have ever been to going to bed at halftime. I was a zombie last Tuesday after the Panther's game and i didn't want to deal with it again. At halftime i was about to go up to bed when i heard my 11 month old wake up, crying and coughing. He has a bit of a cold and didn't really sleep saturday night either (another reason why i was ready to throw in the towel on the game).
Anyhow, my wife goes up and starts to try and rock him to no avail so he's awake. I let her go to bed and took him, he ended up in and out of sleep during the second half but that's really the only reason i stayed up.
I'm man enough to admit that, had the Pats not been on, I would have let my wife deal with him for as long as he needed it!

I always make excuses to keep watching....I was like ok, if they fail on this first drive of the second half, thats it! OK if they fail on this second drive, I'm done....ok if denver does not turn the ball over here.....ok if the pats do not turn this into points....so before long I was up all night.

Me too but i seriously wouldn't have made it past halftime last night.
My biggest problem is that i get too amped up and end up watching postgame, reading this and other sites for 2 + hours after the game.
It's a ritual after a big win:
TV postgame
Pats websites
Opposition sites for some delicious schadenfreude
wrap up on pats sites

I had a good laugh though when Collinsworth said, "That was a rare drop by Welker".

ROFL

I stayed up the whole game and then some. We had no power, it went out at 6 and came back at 3 AM.
I have a small TV in my kitchen on the counter. It isn't on cable. So I hooked up my inverter to a car battery, powered the TV, and sat in a stool at the kitchen counter drinking beer. No freaking way I was missing that game.

Your dedication is sincerely appreciated, patswin :) Glad it paid dividends for you :thumb::thumb:
