I still have a VHS of a doubleheader of playoff games from around 98 or 99.
Jets under Parcells against the Broncos I believe was the early game. The Pats were not in the Postseason but so what? That doesn't demish the level of competition and drama and intensity of these games, which is one reason I love sports.
I remember watching the World Series between the Randy Johnson and Curt Schilling led Diamondbacks and the Yankees before the Sox put it all together in 2004.
Was over the moon when Gonzalez blooped one over to win it all and send the Yankees back to the Bronx with their between their legs.
The Jags just pulled out an inspiring win last night and the 9ers Mr. Irrelevant is not looking so irrelevant.
