Will Campbell OLT from LSU, 6'6 319 very athletic will be protecting the blind side of Drake Maye.
As one analyst just said, he may have shortish arms but he has fast cement hands,

I'm happy as hell that we drafted Will. I'll go with the opinions of those who know what they are talking about regarding offensive linemen.
To those who are stressed that his arms aren't 1/8th of an inch longer, get over it.

The problem is that you generally only notice OL when they have a bad play, not good ones. That plus confirmation bias is a bad combination in terms of him changing minds.

I like the pick. There's no doubt that our most glaring need was LT.

Plus you gotta like the emotion he showed, not to mention liking a guy who when asked what he could do for the Pats, said, "I will fight and die for them."

Scarnecchia says arm length isn't nearly as important as proper technique, saying at the point of impact all OTs should have elbows bent (alligator arms) and ready to punch hard
with both hands. Mentions Matt Light had 33" arms and played well.

What does he know?😂

Not everyone. Dante Scarnecchia, among many other NFL experts, believes he's a tackle. Stop with the copium.
No, he's terrible. He's going to end up a mediocre LG that is starting due to his cap hit, probably before the end of training camp. He has short little stubby arms and gets owned regularly by long edge rushers. 4 sacks over three seasons doesn't mean anything because it's college and mostly against scrubs.

The SEC isn't mostly against scrubs. And his stubby little arms are 3/8 of an inch short of the (phony) standard of 33" for a tackle. What'd this guy do to you? Because you're making zero sense and, once again, lying.

Methinks your sarcasm is a shingled roof, for at least some on this board.

Most SEC rushers don't even get drafted, never mind actually make it in the NFL. The arm length minimum is there for a reason. Nothing matters if he can't pound on a guy with his arms fully extended. Just like wingspan. With a short wingspan an OT can't reach his arms out wide and block like that.

And he CRIED on stage. Great culture builder...
